Software Team Leader : Cambridge
Software Team Leader fluent in C*C++ with 6+ years of software development experience required. You will have experience of developing embedded software debugging tools or compilation tools, or an IDE. You should also have experience of the application space, including an understanding of embedded software development, and experience of direct customer contact, including producing software tailored to particular lead customers. Previous experience of direct customer contact an advantage. You must also be able to demonstrate clear team leadership skills, a clear knowledge of development and validation processes, and be able to work in and contribute to a technically challenging environment. You must also be able to run a number of projects in parallel, effectively managing the resource pool of a team of engineers. This is a great opportunity for experienced Software Engineers to join our client who is a leading provider of 16*32-bit embedded RISC microprocessor solutions in Cambridge. Leading the product engineering group, you will have overall responsibility for the engineering deliverables for the group, line managing up to 4 team leaders, each heading teams of 3-4 engineers. You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of individual products and technologies, and will need to manage both long and short:term development requirements over several releases of the product. This will involve occasional travel to the other development sites within the UK and USA. Salary depending on experience + excellent benefits package (Share Options, Insurance, Pension and more).
